Indigo's High-Quality, Full-Color Personalization Power Helps ELetter
With Fast, Effective Printing and Direct Mail
ELetter, Inc., an innovative Internet-based business-mailing solution provider, gives even the smallest companies the ability to launch mail campaigns - from their desktops 24 hours a day.
The San Jose, California-based firm, which launched its website last year, uses a unique, fully-automated system that links the input workflow capabilities of Internet technology with the output quality, productivity and reliability of Indigo digital color printing. After initially installing an Indigo (NASDAQ:INDG) TurboStream, ELetter recently added the high-speed, high-performance Indigo UltraStream 2000 digital color press to help handle its accelerating volume of online business.
"We chose Indigo presses after a long evaluation of every option available. It's clear that we made the right decision," says Kurt Brown, ELetter's VP of Engineering. "Our customers love the quality of Indigo color and many of them take full advantage of the variable data capability we can offer whether they're sending out a mailing of 50 or 5,000 pieces. Reliability also is important to us, and Indigo has delivered there as well."
Through ELetter's website (www.eletter.com) customers upload their address lists and content files, including postcards, flyers, letters and booklets. The files are RIPed to the Indigo presses and the result is a sharply printed full-color campaign, simultaneously addressed during the press run - and in the mail within one to four days.
ELetter's customers are primarily small to mid-size organizations in a wide variety of sectors, including real estate, insurance, health care, financial services, travel and direct sales - anyone, in fact, with a need for targeted, short-run mailings that incorporate variable data. The average press run is approximately 800 pieces, although the company has executed runs as high as 10,000. ELetter offers visitors to its website an opportunity to perform a preliminary test mailing through its system before ordering.
"ELetter has built an exciting, successful new business around the dual digital technologies of the Internet and Indigo," says Rick Mangold, Vice President of Sales for Indigo North America. "By making the power of one-to-one marketing accessible to businesses of every scale, they've also opened up new and highly productive applications for Indigo presses."
