Qld: Stolen Xmas presents spark brawl
BRISBANE, Dec 27 AAP - A row over stolen Christmas presents led to two brawls in northQueensland overnight, police said.
Mackay Police Senior Constable Kerry Holl said about 15 people from Amhurst and Anvilstreets at Slade Point were involved in brawls at a house about 10pm (AEST) and againat 12.30am (AEST).
Snr Const Holl said no-one was injured in the brawls sparked after allegations thata group of youths had stolen Christmas presents from a house.
The occupants claimed to have recognised the youths.
Three men and a woman were charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing police.
Snr Const Holl said investigations into the brawls would continue today.
