TORRES STRAIT TO COOKTOWN: North of Cape Melville, SE winds
l5/20 knots reaching 25 knots at times across southern waters
today. Highest seas to about 2 metres. A 2 metre SE swell outside
the reef. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. South of
Cape Melville, The Strong Wind Warning has been finalized. SE winds
20/25 knots, gradually easing to average 20 knots during Tuesday.
Seas to 2.3 metres decreasing to 2 metres during Tuesday. A 2
metre SE swell outside the reef. Scattered showers and isolated
squally thunderstorms.
COOKTOWN TO CARDWELL: The Strong Wind Warning has been
finalized. SE winds 20/25 knots, easing a little to average 20
knots during Tuesday. Highest seas to 2.3 metres decreasing to 2
metres during Tuesday. A 2 metre SE swell outside the reef.
Scattered showers.
CARDWELL TO BOWEN: The Strong Wind Warning has been finalized.
SE winds 20/25 knots, easing to average 20 knots during Tuesday.
Close inshore, winds a little lighter particularly in the early
morning and tending more easterly in the afternoon. Highest seas
to 2.3 metres in open waters decreasing to 2 metres during
Tuesday. Scattered showers.
BOWEN TO ST LAWRENCE: A Strong Wind Warning is current. SE
winds 20/30 knots, easing to 20/25 knots on Tuesday. Highest seas
to 2.7 metres in open waters decreasing to 2.2 metres on Tuesday.

ST LAWRENCE TO BURNETT HEADS : A strong wind warning is
current. SE winds at 20 to 30 knots easing to 20 to 25 knots
during Tuesday. Seas and SE swells to 3 metres in open waters
decreasing to about 2.5 metres during Tuesday. Showers.
HERVEY BAY WATERS: A strong wind warning is current. SE winds
at 20 to 30 knots easing to 20 to 25 knots during Tuesday. Seas to
2.0 metres in the northern bay decreasing to 1.5 metres during
Tuesday. Showers.
SANDY CAPE TO DOUBLE ISLAND POINT: A strong wind warning is
current. SE winds at 25 to 30 knots easing to 20 to 25 knots
during Tuesday. Seas and SE swells to 3.0 metres decreasing to 2.2
metres during Tuesday. Showers.
DOUBLE ISLAND POINT TO COOLANGATTA: A strong wind warning is
current. SE winds at 25 to 30 knots easing to about 20 knots
overnight. Seas and SE swells to 3.0 metres decreasing to 2 metres
on Tuesday. Showers.
